Episode 154 - August 27, 2016

It's another week with some awesome women. Pay is joined by actress and comedian Anne Marie Scheffler who is launching her one-woman comedy show MILF LIFE CRISIS for a two week run in Toronto. Anne Marie shares her personal story of getting married, having kids, getting divorced and realizing she's a MILF and should embrace it.

Parenting writer Sam Kemp-Jackson write a story calling for Home Ec. to be brought back because kids aren't learning the practical things they need! But, why learn when you can just hire people to fix things and make food?

Mama Chen makes her on-air debut. You know her from Twitter and Facebook, and now Pay calls her mom to ask her about forgetting the most important day in her mom's life (the birth of Pay).

A new health study came out this week that says some people may NOT be eating enough salt...could that be you? (Unlikely). Nutritionist Theresa Albert reveals the top foods where salt is lurking and you'll be surprised by the list!

Toronto Star Food Editor, Jennifer Bain tried out the new tasty morsels at the CNE this year and gives you a list of the best and...the not so best so you don't waste your money or your calories.

And Air Canada's EnRoute magazine wants you to vote for your favourite new Canadian restaurant. Chef Anthony Rose of Fat Pasha joins the show to talk about it.

Plus, a radio DJ in BC live tweets his vasectomy and records it (sound only. Thank God.)

Nutritionist, Theresa Albert, talks about the popularity of e-cigarettes among kids and why parents should be concerned. She also debunks some exercise myths: how much cardio is enough? Do you need all that protein after a workout? And is chocolate milk really a great post-exercise drink?
And Pay talks about an LA surgeon who created his "perfect woman" and married her. True love.
